Chris McRae is the Director of the Summer Programs at Charlotte Latin School and a Middle School Earth Sciences teacher. He holds a Master of School Administration from Gardner Webb University as well as a Master of Science degree in Geogology from Auburn University. He enjoys playing basketball, anything Disney related, visiting the mountains and spending time with his wife and two children. Chris is also a professional member of the American Camp Association.
Laura Walker is the Assistant Director of Summer Programs, as well as a lead After School teacher for grades TK-KG & 3rd-5th grade at Charlotte Latin School. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and Art from Appalachian State University and a Master’s degree in Sports Management administration from Liberty University. She enjoys art, woodworking, music, painting, the outdoors and spending time with her husband and two English Bulldogs, Petunia & Buttercup. She is currently learning to play the ukulele! Laura is also a professional member of the American Camp Association.
Nora is a retired Union County high school American History teacher. After teaching at Sun Valley High School for 26 years, she joined the CLS family – first as a classroom substitute, and then in the library as the after school assistant. Nora recently joined the Summer Programs Office, assisting with registration and communicating with camp instructors and vendors. In her free time, Nora still re-enacts history characters, loves to read and spends time with a growing number of great nieces and nephews.
