Carpool & Campus Info
Carpool
For camper safety, all campers must remain in their vehicle until unloaded or loaded by a member of our staff. Vehicles must be stopped at a designated carpool station before unloading or loading. For younger campers, feel free to load your camper and then pull down to our “buckle zone” to secure seatbelts. This maintains camper safety while allowing for the carpool line to continue moving.
HAWK CARPOOL (Before & After Care, half & full day camps, non-sport camps, campers without a sibling camper):
Enter the main entrance of Charlotte Latin School (9502 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC, 28277). Follow Fox Drive past three speed bumps and turn left. Follow the carpool lane into the bus alley, until you are in front of the Hawk statue.
RAINTREE CARPOOL (Camp Victor, Pre-K camps):
Enter the back entrance of Charlotte Latin School via Raintree Lane. Continue left to the camp check-in station on the right.
HUB CARPOOL (half day camps, outdoor sports):
Enter the main entrance of Charlotte Latin School (9502 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC, 28277). Turn LEFT on Hawks View Drive and continue to the camp check-in station (past SwimMAC, before the bridge).
CAMPUS INFO
CARPOOL:
We use three carpool locations which can be found at the top of this page. Camps will be assigned per location for drop-off/pick-up based on their camp. Each weekly newsletter will outline which carpool location to use.
HAWK:
Main entrance of Charlotte Latin School off of Providence Road (Fox Drive). HAWK carpool riders will text a pick-up number posted upon entry. This helps us get the campers ready by the time their vehicle approaches. Please be sure to present your carpool card at pick-up in your dash.
RAINTREE:
Back of campus entrance off of Raintree Lane. Camp Victor drop-off and pick-up lines will be labeled. Pre-K campers will utilize the NEST building off the Raintree Lane entrance.
HUB:
South campus location, using the main Charlotte Latin School entrance and turning LEFT on Hawks View Drive. This is our outdoor sports direct drop-off and pick-up location. Camps utilizing this location include baseball, field hockey, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, and tennis.
PLAY:
Each indoor camp is staggered and scheduled with outdoor play and snack time.
ALLERGIES:
We encourage non-peanut snacks at camp. All of our camp staff are Epi-Pen trained. Please see our “Details & FAQs” page about when and where to drop off any Epi-Pens for campers.
BUS:
Walking to or from the bus stop or campus unattended is not permitted. An adult/parent/guardian must drop-off and/or pick-up from the bus stop/campus.
SWIMMAC:
For safety reasons, we cannot allow campers to walk to or from their camp to the SwimMAC pool. In addition, our camp staff is not available to transport campers to or from the SwimMAC pool during the camp day.
